Air New Zealand
The Air New Zealand long-haul experience reflects the inspiring uniqueness of its place, its people and its culture. As the national airline for the country, fresh expressions of New Zealand are showcased throughout Air New Zealand, from the interiors and cuisine, to the entertainment and staff.
Business Premier Class
To look and feel your best, there's no substitute for a good night's sleep - something that's all too rare on a long-haul flight. That's why Air New Zealand has chosen the most comfortable, fully lie-flat bed for the Business Premier cabin.
The luxurious leather armchair converts to a fully flat 6 feet 7.5 inch bed with an ottoman footrest, which doubles as a visitor's seat. Every seat has direct aisle access, while the unique design of the in-bed mode features a separate mattress surface for optimum comfort. Your own soft duvet, large cotton pillow and sleep sheet provide a true sleep experience, while the Business Premier bathrooms boast enhanced interiors, and a luxurious range of Pacifica skincare products for a more pleasurable flight.
Enjoy a fresh in-flight menu developed by a team of consultant chefs served on distinctive crockery and cutlery for a premium dining experience. Each dish has been carefully chosen to feature New Zealand's finest natural produce and reflect a rich cultural and culinary landscape. The in-flight wine selection comes from all over the country, to ensure a representation of styles for each passenger.
A wide range of Audio-Video On-Demand (AVOD) entertainment is available to suit all tastes, from blockbusters to news programs, with an in-seat remote control handily available to direct the action. Individual 10.4 inch, high-resolution screens give perfect picture clarity while active noise-cancellation ensures crystal-clear sound quality.
Pacific Premium Economy Class
Treat yourself to more space in Pacific Premium Economy, an exclusive class of travel that sits between Business Premier and Pacific Economy.
Spoil yourself with Pacific Premium Economy's 38-40 inch seat pitch, as well as 50 per cent more seat recline than Economy. Complete with full legrest and foot bar, these seats can make all the difference on a long flight. In-seat power is available which accepts most common connector plugs without the need for any kind of adaptor.
A selection of meals designed by Air New Zealand's consultant chefs are available to Pacific Premium Economy guests. The menus reflect the experience of the executive chefs with their flair for New Zealand food used to create unique meals. Choose from an extensive Business Premier Class wine list.
Every Pacific Premium Economy Class seat features an individual high-resolution 8.4 inch entertainment screen so you can watch what you want when you want with the state-of-the-art Audio-Video On-Demand (AVOD) system. Blockbuster movies, TV programs and a unique New Zealand selection of programs are available at your fingertips, as well as a selection of music, information and the latest games to keep everyone amused.
Clubs, Lounges and Alliances
Membership of Air New Zealand's Koru Club comes with many benefits and privileges - from access to lounges, to priority reservations, to special check-in facilities and preferred seating allocation.
Air New Zealand's selection of lounges are less 'lounge' and more 'bach' (a New Zealand holiday house), complete with mock verandah, weatherboard walls and a welcoming staff member upon entering. The unique Kiwi experience introduces travellers to a little piece of homeland outside of New Zealand.
Air New Zealand is a member of the Star Alliance network, which consists of over 20 airlines and offers more than 17,000 daily flights to 897 destinations in 160 countries.
The Last Word
From April 2008, Air New Zealand is revolutionising its long-haul travel experience with the introduction of an in-flight International Airline Concierge service. This new service will be dedicated to making every customer's journey before, during and after an Air New Zealand flight a special event.
